~ Deep Meditation ~

Hey..

So.. Right now. I am sooo relaxed ..... |- )

I love psychic-like things, the paranormal, and many related things. I've had deja vu, ESP, mind-reading, and a little audiovoyance since i was 6 or 7.

Around 2 months ago, I performed a technique, to remember a past life. It was so amazing, even if I ended up falling asleep. [I was laying in a dimmed living room, on a very comfy-couch, and I was already tired when I started]

So, after not really doing anything on psychic-things, last night, I jumped back into it. Today.. Oh my..

Just 10 minutes ago, I ended a very ... deep ... meditation.

Its hard to explain what it felt like. All I can say is... "AMAZING".

Its like a Dream-State, yet! -You're not asleep. I calmed myself so much, that all sounds around me [except the light breathing of some cats around me], and my own quiet breathing-- Had faded. And my body fell asleep.. But my mind stayed alert. Or vise versa...

I was 'gone', let's say. I was sooo far gone. It was so peaceful and amazing. I don't remember exactly what I saw, but what I saw, was truly fantastic. I calmly told myself "I'm going farther... and farther.. Thats it, I'm gone. I am gone so far ... " and then, eventually, it all started to fade out, and I became a bit more aware. It was so dark, and awesome.. I felt like I was waking up. I told myself "Oh. Here we go. Time to wake up now," then I told myself I didn't want to, I wanted to stay that way forever. I guess that's kind of what its like in a NDE [Near Death Experience]..

But I had to wake up. So I slowwwly woke up, slowly opened my eyes. The room was fairly dark now. I checked the clock.

5:40.

I don't remember exactly when I started, but I know it was at least an hour or 2 ago.

And when I woke- I felt so amazing. A bit tired, but refreshed, verrrrry calm, and I felt like I'd literally- Been gone for years.

= )

So try it. It feels wonderful, and its so amazing.

I'm going to definitely be trying it on a regular basis.

Tips:

-You need to be in a very quiet room.
-To quiet your mind, focus on your breathing. How it goes in and out, SLOWLY.. Then, start counting down slowly from 20 to 0. Imagine the details of each number, and how they're shaped. I only did it twice, and I was already starting to "go".
-Its better to sit cross legged, back straight, on a floor in a spacy, yet quiet room.
-Do not listen to music or have any form of distractions near you. Quiet allows you to come intact with your inner-self, and your psychic-side.

Everyone has something psychic about them.. It just takes a bit of time to release it.

Coffee vs ... Coffee?

Mm, hello~

So. I felt like posting this, because I find it unusual, annoying, and rather stupid how some doctors, and just normal humans' think coffee is "so bad", when other doctors and other humans' think it to be the "best, healthiest thing in the world". But you may ask, what side am I on?

I don't necessarily like taking sides, so I try to avoid it, but I always end up on 1 side. ¬_¬

Well, in this case, I'm agreeing with the people who claim its super-healthy and the best. Because that's what I think. Well, I know its not super-healty, but it is the best, to me. Other than Coke and Wine of course ; )

Ever sign into MSN, and in the Today box, there's something about coffee being "unhealthy"? When, around a month or 2 later, another coffee-topic'll come up, but it'll be titled something similar to "Coffee = Most Beneficial Drink?".

If you find that annoying, then you found the right topic on it.

I've read so many coffee posts, its not even funny~

And all those stereotypes... How many times- Seriously, how many times, have you gone to school, or something, and heard kids or whatever saying "Coffee's super-bad, it stunts your growth!" ?

Let me tell you. Its false. If it was true, then I'd probably still be 4'10" or 5' still. But- Nope. I'm almost 6' feet tall, and I'm still growing taller. So try and go against that. However, I do have a bit of an advantage towards that.. My dad's tall. 6' -something. My mom's kinda tall too. I'm the same height as her. My brothers' and Uncle are really tall, too. They're all, like- [other than my mom] 6 and 1/2 feet tall.

But hey, I've been drinking coffee nearly everyday since I was 3. THREE, people! xD

Some say, if you drink coffee, even once, as a child, it'll screw up your mind. ¬_¬ Another false thing. If anything, it made me more intelligent.. Even though I constantly deny that I'm smart at all. [I skipped 2 grades and always get 94+ on my report cards.. And I helped my mom with gr 12 work when I was in gr 4, and I just wrote my bf's college work, and I'm in gr 9 now]

But anyway, back to coffee, lol! xD

Well. I wanted to post this, because I saw this, in MSN's Today. http://lifestyle.ca.msn.com/health-fitness/diet/ee-article.aspx?cp-documentid=26013907

One thing that's a sure-fire win to get some people to stop thinking coffee's bad [unless they're real pessimists. Like me.. ], is this:

"To most people, when you mention coffee, the first thing that comes to mind is caffeine. But in fact, coffee contains an assortment of compounds, many of which may be beneficial. Like other plant foods, the coffee bean is chock full of a variety of phytochemicals - disease-fighting compounds."

See? It contains phytochemicals. Now, I already knew that, but reading it in another person's topic-post, was pretty nice. Its nice to know some people know the true facts on coffee.

Apples, red wine, tea and chocolate are also good. Its a good like I like each thing. Except tea. I've never liked tea. But if I really wanna relax, I'll make one. Its only about once a year, or once every other year, that I'll actually drink tea. But I like apples, I love red-wine, and.. Ok, another lie, I'm not a fan of chocolate, lol~ I avoid chocolate. One, its often too sweet, two, its weight-inducing, three- my teeth are very sensitive to it. Ow!

Another thing..

"A number of large studies of population groups have linked drinking coffee - both regular and decaf - to a considerably-reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes."

So drinking coffee for almost 11 years, has remarkably reduced my chances of getting type-2 diabetes. And that's good, considering my Grandpa has diabetes, and some other family members I don't think I ever met [before they died..] had it, too. My stepdad has it, too, but that wouldn't effect me, because we're not blood-related.

Wow.. 11 years. Lol, I've never actually calculated how long I've been drinking it for. Since its not 11 years yet, I can celebrate for drinking it for 10 Years. Oh, thats a band/artist, lol..

Oh!! READ THIS:

"In one study from the University of Minnesota, more than 28,000 women were followed for an 11-year period to see the link between the development of diabetes and how much coffee they consumed. Compared with women who reported drinking no coffee daily, women who consumed six or more cups per day had a 22% lower risk."

See, right there, it says so many women did an 11 year study on the percentage of how much coffee they drank, to see if it reduced any risks of diseases/diabetes. So there you go! My risk is lowered by 22% after 11 years, and including the other things I consume that reduce the risk, probably gives me an approx. of 53% lower risk.

How does this work? The phenols in coffee/caffeine, improve/induce more insulin. Now, if you're diabetic, then you should know, you need to inject insulin to .. Well.. Keep living. So having natural insulin, decreases risk.

But another downside, as stated in the link I gave, is that it boosts cholesterol levels. Drinking over 8 coffees a day can make your cholesterol-level quite high. Sometimes even soar, and that's not good. So if you take pills to lower cholesterol, or only limit yourself to 4 coffees max, then you should be good.

Anyway, I'm done talking about coffee, I can't think of anything else to say. xD

If you're a coffee lover, and would like to test your knowledge, check out this quiz!

I only got 4 questions right. I'm an "Espresso No-Go". But hey! I've always made my own coffee at home, I don't go to Cafe's or Starbucks or anything. No one'll take me... >.>

However, I do love Starbucks [Been there once], and I've been in a few cafe's/beside them. I wanna go to an Internet-Cafe. But the point is- I don't visit places that use Coffee-Talk, that's why I failed the quiz. ; )

Anyway..

Tell me what you're doing for Halloween! = D

Simcoe Fair!!

Hi People!!!

OMG.. Awesome!!! I just got back from our Simcoe Fair that goes on EVERY YEAR, on the weekend of Thanksgiving. = D

My family goes there every year. We didn't go for about 2-4 years, but we finally went again this year. xD

SO. They used to have this ride, The Gliders, there.. And it was my favourite ride for a few years. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, look it up. "Gliders fair ride" at Google.

So anyway.. They didn't have this, this year.

I didn't even notice, lol! Not until my Grandma had mentioned it while we were waiting for a Concert to begin. [Country singer with her band.. Jodi- something. Just came out with a new album. Unmistaken or something]

Ooh, I went on THE POLAR EXPRESS, mannn!! Totally awesome ride!!

I lovvve this ride sooooooo much!! xD

Its just so fantastical! And kewwwllll .. Because it was just my grandparents and I who had went this time, my grandma and I went on every ride alone. [Gpa was too chicken xD]

So.. She sat on the outside, I sat on the inside [near the enlightened middle thingy] and.. Because it goes so damn fast, my hands were red from holding the bars so tightly, to keep from sliding into my Grandma, but the force was tooooo strong, and.. I failed. I slid into her... T_T.... LOL!! xD

Ooooh, now WAIT for it............................

Thee Best........... My New Favourite Ride............ TOTALLY FREAKIN' AWESOME--

Ladies & Gentlemen, Please Welcome:

The Fire*Ball!!!

THE BIGGEST, BEST-EST, MOST AWESOME RIDE AT THE SIMCOE FAIR~

And its *new* !! It takes over The Gliders' spot..

And- HOLY SHIT, IT FEELS LIKE I'M UPSIDE DOWN ON IT RIGHT NOW.. xD

So yes!!! The seats go to the left [backwards] first... Then front.. then back higher.. then frontwards higher.. THen back to HAND UPSIDE-FREAKIN'-DOWN FOR ABOUT... TWELVE SECONDS D=

.. Then it goes back DOWWWNNNNNNN , front wards.. It almost goes to the other side, but then it goes back again.. I think it goes back forewards again, and UPSIDE DOWN, AND AROUND... O_O .. About 6 times, then it STOPS upside down again [and because I like the same seat, 16, in the middle [16 is facing the right of the ride, in the placement in this picture], I am completely upside down..... O_O;;;;;;; ... ] .. And the opposite way [around / loops] a few times, then it slows down. I went on twice with my Grandma during the day, and 2 more times ALONE .. xD

Once when the sun had almost set.. So it the sun was still shining [low] and stuff... Then around 9 pm.

AWESOME.

GOD I thought I was gonna fall out!!!!!!! O_O;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

And- That upside down feeling..Its making me feel sick, weird, and my eyes feel like they're gonna fall out [like on the ride] and I'm getting a headache... >.< ......

OOOH.. At the concert thingy.. We sat in the bleachers/stands for about 2 and 1/2 hours... ¬_¬ ....

God, it was freezing out there... My gma bought me a black, SUPER soft/furry blanket.. If I didn't already mention that, LOL.

So yeah.. Was pretttttyyyy fun.

And Ohhh, the boys.. Sooo many BOIZ there!!! Alot were pretty cute.. ; )

OMG I SAW 2 BOYS HUGGING. TWICE!! ONE HUGGED 2 GUYS. 2ND TIME WAS A FRIGGIN' ROMANTIC HUG.. But they're not gay.. ToT ... They had gf's... D'x

Oh well. I gotta go, I don't feel so wellllll, lol. Plus its late, and I'm tired.

GOODNIGHTERZ..
